Can You See Through All That Smoke?

Today we are going to switch gears a little bit to makeup. The trend is the smokey eye. Some say that this look is way to hard to pull off but it isn't, you just need the right tools and the confidence to pull it off. There is many ways to achieve the smokey eye look but we will start with the basics. The first order of business is finding the right colors that go with your skin tone. Lighter skin tones should stay with grays and browns, black may look to harsh on your skin. Tan and Darker skin tones can use the grays, browns and black. The other toold needed are a shimmering natural color( a color closest to your skin tone), mascara and eyeliner. Take the natural color and apply it to the inner corner of your eyes to the middle of your eyelid. Then take the darker color of your choosing( gray, black or brown) and apply it from the mid lid to the end of your eye. Blend the two colors together and then line your eye ( top & bottom ). Finish with a lot of volumizing mascara. Keep the rest of your makeup simple. This makeup trick can be used with a lot of different colors but its best to get the basic coloring down first before you go crazy. After this is mastered do not be afraid to move on to the purples, greens and blues. Remember a woman leader isn't afraid to try something new.
